41 years old male with uncontroled epilepsy with history of RTA of iong time Report Approval Date 29 AUG-2021 02 34 PM 646L-100-9o uaue jo egeg Report Interpretation Abnormal Procedure MRBRAC, MRI BRAIN WIV CONTRAST, 29-AUG-2021 11:30 AM Medical Question REPORT TEXT MRI BRAIN WIV CONTRAST of 29-AUG-2021: Slightly atrophied left hippocampus with slight heterogeneous increased hyperintensity on FLAIR sequences (mainly antero-medially) accompanied with prominence of the left temporal hom as compared to the right side - suggestive af the focal unilateral mesial temporal sclerosis - for clinical correlation. Multifocal small foci of increased hyperintensity on T2Wis and FLAIR (hypo-intense on Tt with no restriction on DWis or contrast enhancement on post IV contrast images) are noted in white matter of frontal and parietal regions paraventricular and centrum semi ovale regions bilaterally. more prominent left posteriorly- may suggest chronic vascular insults or vascuitis, less likely M.S - for clinical correlation. Otherwise the brain is unremarkable with no other focal lesian, areas of abnormal MRI signal intensity or areas of abnormal contrast enhancement. No extra-axial haematoma or collection. No other significant intracranial abnormality. IMPRESSION No previous MRI is available for comparison. Changes of the left hippo- campus as previously described -? MTS. Hyperintense foci in the white matter of both frontal and parietal lobes as previously described -? Chranic vascular insults ? Vasculitis rather than M.S. Further follow-up and clinical correlation are recommended. Otherwise the brain is unremarkable
