History Single lady with history of scar at labia minora Macroscopic Examination: Received one container labelled by patient's name & file number It contains three greyish white and firm fragments of tissue measured 1.5cm in AD, two of them covered by ellipse of skin measured 0.5Sx0 .5cm. The tissue submitted in one cassette. Microscopic Examination: Microscopic examination of submitted tissue revealed hyperplastic squamous epithelial fining focally ulcerated with heavy mixed inflammatory cells infiltration enclosing sheets of polygonal squamous cells having scant cytoplasm, hyperchromatic nuclei and mitotic figures are seen along with individual cell keratinization and multiple keratin pearls. Features are consistent with moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma for clinical correlation and immunohistochemistry study if clinically indicated.
