Hello Doctor,
My daughter Rita, 8 y.o., has an inflammation at the bottom of her cheek close to the ear side since 3 months. It feels like a bumpy surface. It only hurts her when she presses on it or bite strongly on that same side.
No other symptoms are observed at all!
FYI, she had 5 years ago mumps with some similar inflammations but with accompanying symptoms.
What do you think is causing it? Should we take her for a consultation or is it something Benign and will eventually disappear?
Thanks for your support.
Regards,
Salim
