I have alternately had constipation then diarrhea...
I have alternately had constipation then diarrhea for several years. For the last week I've had only liquid stools, or the consistency of a thin cake batter, normal color, lots of gas, no bleeding as I have had bleeding ulcers in the past and this isn't it. 3 days ago I started feeling generally unwell and fatigued with mild cramping. For the last 2 days I have had diffuse pain throughout my abdomen and it isn't getting better. From my stomach to umbilicus it is very tender, the lower quadrants are uncomfortable but not like the upper 2 quadrants. I'm concerned that I may have a partial bowel obstruction. I have really poor insurance so I don't want to seek care if I'm way off base. I would appreciate you opinion.
