Hi team, I had my wife did a breast implant...
Hi team,
I had my wife did a breast implant removal surgery without capsule removal, she had the implant only for two years in her body and she was not feeling comfortable so she decided to undergo the surgery,
Now she is thinking about the hazards of keeping the capsule and not removing .
Also the surgeon did not put a drain after the surgery and did not advise antibiotic but one day after the surgery now she is feeling some fluid inside and we wonder what she can do, whether a medicine should be taken to absorb the fluid or a drain to be inserted

Dear Customer
Evaluating the answer from the top of the page after reading it helps us to improve the quality of answers and ensure that the best experts are available to help you .
what is the risks of keeping the capsule ?
what about the fluid sensation that my wife feel ?
what to expect if you feel pain in the breast ?
why the doctor didnt prescribe an antibiotics or pain killer even ?
advice
- usually it can be removed depending upon the patients wish ( which is the best choice but it might coast a little bit more cash )
- some complications might face the patient such as
- capsule contracure which can lead to chronic infection
- calcification that cause the breast tissue to be obstructed
- hematoma formation
- encapsulated sillicone filled cyst ( if its fille dwith sillicone rather than normal saline )
what about the fluid sensation that my wife feel ?
- i suggest to revisit the surgeon since that kind of operation always should have a drain inserted
what to expect if you feel pain in the breast ?
- you should undergo breast ultrasound to chech if there is any fluid or collection in the site of the surgery
why the doctor didnt prescribe an antibiotics or pain killer even ?
- its also unusual for plastic surgeons to discharge the patient from the operation room without antibiotics or painkiller
advice
- we advice you firstly to remove the capsule ( do capsulectomy ) to avoid its comlication
- if she felt a fluid beneath the skin then as we mentioned she should do ultrasound to check for the content of the thing that she is feeling before starting any meds
- some small post operative fluid sacs can be resolved on thier own if they are a small ones
- visit the doctor and ask him why didnt he put a drain or prescribe antibiotics and tell him to exlain to you why didnt he do it
