hello, I have severe back pain (right under the wing bone) and I have visited at least 4 different doctors. all of them just give me NSAIDs and muscle relaxant medication. I have told them that I have already taken all kinds of NSAIDs and muscle relaxants and that it is not helping the pain. I have studied pharmacology and medicine in school so I know what the medication does and what it is prescribed for. I requested opioids for the back pain but they will not give it to me. 2 doctors told me opioids will not work for your pain. I don't know why they are lying because opioids are for all types of pain. I went and asked my grandfather for Vicodin or Dilaudid. He gave me Vicodin and told me if this doesn't treat your pain I will come with you to your next doctor visit. the Vicodin removed the pain to almost 0%. So how do I get a doctor to understand my condition and give me the proper treatment? I am currently living in Kuwait and go to Dar Al Shifa hospital for my physiotherapy sessions.
