Well , your child may sufur from inflamatory bowels disease when there is multiple ulcerative lesions which prevent digest and absorbtion 
or it may came from celiac disease when there is allergic reaction to the whey protein or others gradient 
and don't forget that sme children suffer from allergic reaction to several antibiotic as penicllin and others belong to same family which came with difficualt breathing sneezing cough with no GIT symptoms 
so you must keep on prescriped drugs only omnicef and flagyl and avoid risky to take other drugs without medical advice
