Recently diagnosed with ldiopathic Urticaria

what are these red skin spots

1. it could be allergic reaction as urticaria
2. it could be bruises resulting from low platelet number
3. it could be an skin infection due to viral or bacterial cause

what is the treatment of these red skin dots

1. avoiding the cause of allergy
2. and hydrocortison njection
3. choloropheneramin injection
4. in emergent allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) you also need adrenaline injection into the thigh
5. in case of low platelet number , corticosteroid is of benefit
6. in very low count platelet transfusion is used
7. spleenectomy in refractory cases
8. antiviral and antibiotic in case of infection

what are the associated symptoms

1. itching
2. low blood pressure and dizzenes
3. shortness of breath
4. vomiting
5. nasal bleeding
6. prolonged bleeding after minor trauma
7. fever

how do we diagnose the cause

1. clinical exam
2. CBC
3. CRP , ESR
4. bleeding time
