Hi Dr ,am 35 with no serious uti,std but I have big residual urine volumes,I get severe pain at the sphincter muscle just by touching cold water or releasing water from the tap and often failing to control urine. I test no diabetes,and all organs tested normal .how can u advise me

What is the treatment of urinary retention?

In case of inflammation, levofloxacine 500mg is used twice daily for 10 days

Alpha-Adrenergic Blockers
5-Alpha-Reductase Inhibitors
Phosphodiesterase-5 Enzyme Inhibitors
Or use surgical treatment such as TURP to scrape the enlarged portion of the prostate
