Treatment of vaginal discharge
It is common complaint due to many factors and causes. Treatment is by the following- At first, take metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for 7 days.
- Take one tab of fluconazole 150 mg once.
- Use gyno - dektazole supp. once daily for three days.
- Increase your intake of water for at least 3 liters per day.
- If discharge contineous, seek a medical help to be examined by your gynecologist.
Causes of vaginal discharge
There are many causes like- Physiological one
- Bacterial infection
- Fungal infection
- foreign body in vagina
Symptoms of vaginal inflammation
There are many symptoms like- Lower abdominal pain

What is the possible cause of brownish color discharge for 5 days ?
brown color indicate clotted blood , which may be caused by :
1. old or pervious period blood
2. small amount of bleeding into your productive system
What to do next ?
if you dont have any other symptoms , you wont need to visit a doctor , its ok
What if it happened again ?
if it happened again in next period , we suggest the following :
1. consult OBGYN doctor
2. do needed medical tests such as :
- physical examination
