What is the treatment of sleeplessness?
Treatment depends on the cause after conducting the necessary tests , but the treatment can be summarized as follows:
exercise daily
Maintain a daily sleep schedule regularly
Avoid caffeine at night
Avoid smoking
Avoid going to bed with feeling of hunger
Ensure a comfortable sleeping environment.
Use relaxation techniques - such as meditation and relaxation of muscles.
Cognitive therapy - individual counseling or group therapy.
Stimulate mental control - just go to bed when you are sleepy. Avoid watching TV, reading, eating or worrying in bed. Set the alarm clock at the same time each morning , and avoid a long nap during the day
Medical treatments for insomnia include:
Antidepressants
Antihistamines such as hudu tab 1x1
Melatonin which is a sleep hormone
if sleeplessness is the result of excessive tearing :
i recommend visiting an opthalmologist to conduct an exam of the ye and prescribe some eye drops like refresh eye drop and ketofen eye drop
What causes sleeplessness?
Insomnia can be caused by physical and psychological factors. There is sometimes a major medical condition causing chronic insomnia, while transitory insomnia may be due to an event and insomnia usually results from:
Disorders in the rhythmic sleep routine - jet lag, career transformation changes, high altitudes, environmental noise, extreme heat or cold.
