What is the normal sugar levels after meals :
- fasting sugar : less then 105 
- after meals ( after 2 hours ) : less than 140 
- any time : less than 200 
What is the recommanded sugar level to DM patient :
usually your sugar levels should be less than 125 most of the time 
- having healthy meals are the major help in controling your blood sugar 
What is the sugar level that you dont require any medication after that ?
- first , you should know is irreveralbe , so there is no downgrading from your medication types or levels 
- healthy diet and sport is the first level , and its required always to be healthy and avoid DM complications
- medication ( orally ) wont be stopped , but it can be changed or you take less doses if you get better 
- if you are taking insulin injections , then there is no back , you will take insulin always 
General advices to diabeties patient :
1. consult an internal medicine doctor to do the needed medical examiantions and determine the treatment ( if needed )
2. pay attention to your diet and avoid sugar 
3. exercising regularly such as 3-4 times a week
4. drinking plenty of water 
5. loss weight
6. avoid smoking and alcohol
7. make a good knowledge about food calories and healthier food 
8. if there is any other chronic disease such as high blood pressure , control it
