the obvious and possible cause is hypothyrodism , as its effect period , even if you are on medications , thyroid hormone may be abnormal and you may need to change your dose

What to do next ?
1. consult your thyroid doctor and do the needed medical examinations to check on your thyroid 
2. after doing thyroid test , if its within normal range , then go to the next step , but if its not , doctor will need to adjust your doctor and checking on it later ( 1 month ) 
3. after that , if your period is still not corrected , or your thyroid is already normal , consult an OBGYN doctor 
4. the needed tests are :
- physical examinations 
- hormones level test include FSH , LH , EST ,Prolactine 
- imaging test ( ultrasound )
What is the possible medical treatment ?
- first option is medically , which include OCP medication and regulate period medications such as primolut nor 
- second option is surgical ( if needed ) such as in PCOS cases
