it indicates impaired glucose tolerance because If the level of sugar between 110 and 125 mg / dl (6.1 - 6.9 mmol / l) in the case of fasting, the person has a defect in the blood glucose (impaired fasting glucose)
and needs to do further test like oral glucose tlerance test which measures suger after eating glucosr and check the level

the normal level is below 110mg/dl in fasting state and below 200mg/dl in random state
