I have cold and cough, due to it I can't breathe properly. What medicine should I take, and I have work today, should I go to work or take a rest?

Treatment of cough and cold:
You can use the following treatment:- Paracetamol 500 mg three times daily
- Cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep for 5 days
- Drink good amount of hot fluid
- Rest, so it is better to take a rest today
If there is bacterial infection you have to take an antibiotic as augmentin 500 mg three times daily
Symptoms of bacterial infection:
- High grade fever ( above 38 C )
- Productive cough
- Dyspnea
- Loss of appetite
- General fatigue
Diagnosis of the cause of cough:
You have to visit a pulmonologist for clinical examination and investigations as:- CBC to detect infection
- Chest x-ray
