How dexliant should be taken ?
dexliant should be taken on an empty stomache 30 minutes before meals with a dose of 30-60 mg once daily
What is ny advice to you ?
change dexliant to nexium or any other ppi and not to increase the dose more than 60mg
What are the side effects of dexliant ?
dexliant rarely causes side effects , but in less than 10% of patients it may cause
Headache
Flatulence
Indigestion
Nausea
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea
Dizziness
Somnolence
What is the treatment of acid reflux ?
stop smoking
dont eat fatty meals and food containing oils
antacids medication
esmoperazole 40mg once daily for one month
surgical treatment by a procedure called nessen fundoplication
if there is an organic cause or fialure to response to medical treatment
