Why the doctor didnt see it till now ?
we dont know for sure when did you get pregnant , but its seems to be early to see gestational sac . 
When does gestational sac normally appear on the ultrasound imaging test ?
gestational sac usually appear around the 6th week of pregnancy , and be appear later also such as the 8th week 
What if it didnt appear at the 8th week ?
if the gestational sac didnt appear till the 8th week , this indicats an abnormal type of pregnancy such as molar pregnancy , or other medical issues 
What to do next ?
1. keep regularly visiting your doctor to do the routines checks for pregnancy
2. doctor should perform  a serial hormone pregnancy tests to check on how rapid it goes
3. ultrasound tests are mandatory as well
