It is common to have such body swelling after vaginal and CS delivery.
Usually it is due to the hormonal changes during pregnancy.

Treatment of body edema post CS:

Usually, such swelling resolves spontanously without treatment within few days, and i advise you to:

• Avoid prolonged standing
• Drink good amount of water daily
• Try to walk

Symptoms that indicates the need to visit your doctor:

• Fever
• Redness
• Vaginal discharge with foul odor
• Pain
• Dyspnea

For reassurance, i advise you to visit your doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:

• CBC
• Blood pressure
• Urea
• Creatinine
• ALT
• AST
• Urine analysis
• Uric acid
