I am having wet cough since 2 weeks and my trough...
I am having wet cough since 2 weeks and my trough is etching all the while. I have a history of sinus congestion as well. I also had fever for 2 days in between but now I do not have a fever.
I have taken a course of antibiotics for 3 days as well and have been having a combination of paracetamols and flu tabs.
Can you please advice

Regarding your question
What is the treatment of throat irritation and sinus congestion?
Saline nasal irrigation, with nasal sprays or solutions, reduces drainage and rinses away irritants and allergies.
Corticosteroids inhalers like fluticasone , triamcinolone
Cortisone by injection like decort. These drugs are used to relieve inflammation of mucosal surfaces,
NSAIDs for fever such as ibuprofen 600mg 3 times daily
antihistamin drugs like cetrizine 10mg once daily
Drinking fluids, such as water or juice.
Apply warm compresses to your face.
Sleep with your head high.
Avoid cigarette smoke and polluted air.
if high grade fever in bacterial infection then antibiotic like augmentin 500mg 3times daily for a week is required
What are the symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection?
