Hello, I have had unprotected sex yesterday (jan 1 2019). My husband pulled out but i saw that he did ejaculated a bit inside. We are not currently planning on having baby. My cycle last month was 32 days (last period was on Dec 21). Should I take morning after pill? I’m confused to take it because in November for my vacation i wanted to delay my priods, so i took primolut-n for 10 days(got periods on nov 19 which is 39 days cycle). Now again if I take hormonal tablets, will it mess up with my periods? Im confused. Please help. (P.s. as per the period calendar yesterday my chances for getting pregnant was low but still im not sure. What if the ovulation happens early this month)

No I haven’t seen a doc yet. I didn’t took any medication

I was having irregular periods and was detected with PCOD a year back. I was taking medication for that and now (past 6 months) im getting it regularly.

ovulation : is the process of ovarian follice explosion outside the ovaries and this happened in females with normal menstrual period at day 14
what are the clinical signs and investigation to Document ovulation:
- basal body tempreture: At time of ovulation there reduction of temp by 0.3 C then rise by 0.5 degree after day 21 due to progesterone
- Luteal phase progesterone between day 21 to 28 day cycle , >15 ng/ml consistent with ovulation
- LH surge : LH increases 24 hours before ovulation
- Endometrial Biopsy to detect the progestoron effect on uterine linning
what should you do
- Emergency contraception
- it can prevent up to over 95% of pregnancies
- when taken within 5 days after intercourse.
- either by inserting copper loop
- or use combined contraceptive pills as yasmeen
menstral irrgularities it is a side effect and actually it is common with using contraception
so yes you might expecting changing and disruption with your period
it is not a fact but a possibilit
