omeprazole 20mg twice daily for 14 days .1.
2. Metronidazole 500mg three times daily 14 days
3.Clarithromycin 500mg three times daily
it’s a painful sores or ulcers in the lining of the stomach or the first part of small intestine (duodenum).
Most of peptic ulcer caused by bacterial infection (h.pylori) infection than can be transmitted by blood ,food , or stool of infected patient
Thera are many risk factors for peptic ulcer :
1. Excessive usage of analgesia like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like trofen or diclofen
2. Usage of aspirin
3. Smoking
4. Excessive alcohol drinking
1.heart burn
2. vomiting
3. bloating
4. vomiting of blood in severe untreated cases
5.severe abdominal pain due to perforation of stomach or small intestine in sever cases
Peptic ulcer can be diagnosed by taking full medical history of the patient , then do the following test :
1.CBC test to determine the amount of hemoglobin
2. doing H.pylori stool antigen test
3. do endoscopy in old patient above 50 to exclude cancer .
