Hi ..I just want to know what is the maximum safe dose to take as vaginal sypositry for the treatment of yeast infection

I used over the counter 1 dose sypositry "Candida 500" . The pharmacist said I can use this once a week ..but the yeast infection is severe ..it was reduced but not gone ..should I wait a couple of days and then repeat or can I repeat again today

I just finished a dose of antibiotics for a tooth infection ...I had a yeast infection before after using antibiotics ...so I used this medicine before. This time the yeast infection is being a bit stubborn

what are the test do diagnose the cause?
- clinical examination
- take a swap culture from the discharged material and send it to bacterial and viral and fungal laboratory to isolate the microorganism causing it
- the last test is very important if there is no response to the drug , it could lead us to the exact causative organism , hence to the exact drug to use
