I have multiple episodes of diaphragm rising...
I have multiple episodes of diaphragm rising during sleep and causes chest and back tightness and gets relieved automatically but could not sleep. I have GERD. Wat is the reason and what should I do ?
Doctor's Assistant: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I met a cardiologist and did Treadlmill testing and echo. He said I am absolutely fine and no need to worry. But I have these Gerd symptoms often. But why is this diaphragm rising and chest tightness and back tightness happens often ?
Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
That's all. I feel anxious and very disturbed because of this. I am getting to sleep but waking up due to these episodes.

In your case ,i advise you to do CT and gastroscope to reach the definite diagnosis
1. life style modification like
stop smoking
dont eat fatty meals and food containing oils
2. antacids medication
esmoperazole 40mg once daily for one month
3. surgical treatment
if there is an organic cause or fialure to response to medical treatment
what is the risk facotrs of GERD?
