What causes retrograde ejaculation?
muscles in the bladder cavity exists to prevent ejaculation from entering the bladder when passing from the prostate to the tube inside the penis (urethra). This is the same muscle that moves urine to the bladder
With ejaculation back, the muscle does not contract properly in the bladder. As a result, sperm can enter the bladder instead of taking it out of your body through the penis.
Several cases can cause muscle problems that close the bladder during ejaculation. These include:
Surgery, such as bladder neck surgery, or prostate surgery
Side effects of some medications used to treat high blood pressure, prostate enlargement and depression
Nerve damage caused by a medical condition, such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease or spinal cord injury
Surgical prostatectomy
Surgical removal of the bladder
Ejaculation complications back are not harmful. However, potential complications include:
Inability to induce pregnancy
Weak orgasm
