1. Physical therapy, to prevent contractions in the muscles and tendons
2. To maintain the strength of the rib cage muscles to support breathing by physiotherapy also
3. In the event of the onset of failure of breathing muscles to do its job then the use of breathing means as oxygen mask, and there may be need for artificial respiration as ventilator
4.Cortisone may help for a short time
Inheritance from a mother carry the gene to her male offspring
1.Loss of ability to walk on the age of nine years
2. abnormal gait
3. Muscle contracture
4. Weak breathing
5. heart failure and cardiomyopathy
6. Deformation of the body muscles
7. big toung and calf
8. Difficult to stand up
9. abnormal spine
10. People with the disease usually die between the ages of 18-25 years, and if they have good medical care can be up to thirty years

2. Examination of the genes in the uterine stage and after birth
3. Biopsy of the muscle
