What is the difference between laser and chemical peeling?

The type of skin conditions that can be laser-peeled differs from those that are chemically peeled. For example, acne scars, age spots, pigmentation, and sun damage are preferred. Laser treatment is used. Fine lines on the skin and coarse areas of the skin are treated with chemical peeling, deep wrinkles or skin sagging. Laser is best in treating some skin conditions ranging from sun damage to brown spots or scarring. Some types of wrinkles are better candidates for laser treatment than others, such as lines around the eyes and vertical wrinkles framing the mouth.

Possible side effects

Chemical peeling makes a superficial peeling away from the outer layers of the skin and this may lead to skin color re-emergence as it was after a short period of peeling for those with skin allergies, and this can cause problems. Some people may feel a change in skin color, which can be temporary or permanent, on the treated areas. You can, however, reduce the risk of peeling by choosing the appropriate treatment for your skin type - less concentration than the active ingredients
