hello.my name is leena ,am married with no children.i have hypothyroidism issue and am on 50 mg thyroxyn .i have been suffering with mild acne for 4 years now.i took toxicycline for one month it got much better but i have to stop it to get pregnant.will my acne get worst again when i stop it?what should i do?plz reply

i am on a dairy free diet and it helped alot.last i checked my thyriod was very high levels(around 6.4) so my endocrinologist increased my thyroxyn dosage

but with pregnancy the estrogen hormone level will go up , and that will reduce the acne

What is the treatment of acne?
1. Tetracycline antibiotics and topical antibiotics such as clindamycin
2. Retinoic acid or vitamin A in sever cases
3. Avoid sweets, carbohydrates and starches and they cause aggravation of the situation This speech is not true and scientifically proven
What causes acne?
1. Sex hormones peak during the puberty

3. Some types of skin irritation medications cause acne, as lithium, isoniazid, and cortisone
