Causes of delayed period:
According to your description, the cause may be:- Pregnancy, which is the first thing you have to rule out
- Hormonal problem
- Uterine problem as fibroids
- Ovarian cyst
- Infection...etc
Diagnosis of the cause of delayed period:
First, you have to do pregnancy test, and if it is negative you have to visit a gynacologist for clinical examination and investigations as:- CBC
- Ultrasound
- TSH
- Free T4
- LH
- FSH
- Prolactin...etc
Treatment of delayed period:
