It depends on the cause, and till the right diagnosis you can use the following medication:- Celecoxib 200 mg once daily for 10 days
- Relaxon twice daily for 5 days
- Diclofene gel twice daily

It may be due to:- Muscle spasm
- Cervical disc
- Inflammation..etc
Diagnosis of the cause of neck pain:
You have to visit an orthopedist for clinical examination and investigations as:- Cervical x-ray
- Cervical MRI
