Normal glucose level
It is normal to have fasting blood fugat less that 110How to diagnose DM?
It depends on both clinical symptoms and measurment og glucose level.If fasting plasma glucose above 126 then we have to do OGTT,
If after 2 hours less than 140, then you do not have DM
If after 2 hours between 140 and 200, then you may have DM in the future
If it is more than 200, then you have DM
Symptoms of DM:
- Frequent urination
- Thirst
- General fatigue
- Weight loss...etc
