Good evening, presented patient is a 50 years old...
Good evening, presented patient is a 50 years old man , a case of CSF leakage after operation fess with large empty sella , leakage sealed with other operation, now he gets spiking high fever with vomit some time, he is under treatment as meningitis by cefepime & vancomycin, LP was done one time & shows protein higher than normal, but meningitis panel was negative, is it possible that spiking fever due to brain abscess?? Or spiking fever is acceptable,treatment was given for 4 days till today.. please answer & guide me..

First operation did on 24/11/2018 & second was on 1/12/2018 , we used acellular mesh with fasciae & muscle &fat& glu

2. Blood filled with bacteria (sepsis)
3. chest infection
4. Inflammation of the wound or abscess at site of wound
1. Cold blanket
2. Dantrolin IV in the case of malignant hyperthermia
3. Antibiotics
4. Oxygen

2. Check the CBC
3. Take a culture sample of blood
4. Ct the brain
