Treatment of high blood pressure?

1. cutting your salt intake to less than 6g per day
2. eating a low-fat, balanced diet
3. being active
4. losing weight
5. drinking less caffeine
6. stopping smoking  
7. if you're under 55 years of age : you'll usually be offered an ACE inhibitor or an angiotensin-2 receptor blocker (ARB)
8. if you're aged 55 or older, or you're any age and of African or Caribbean origin : you'll usually be offered a calcium channel blocker
9. I advise you to be examined by your health care provider

2. a family history of high blood pressure
3. being of African or Caribbean origin
4. a high amount of salt in your food
5. a lack of exercise
6. being overweight or obese
7. regularly drinking large amounts of alcohol
8. smoking
9. long-term sleep deprivation
