its totally not recommanded to have sexual intercourse during the period time , becuase the discomfort and inconvenience that happen to the both partners ( the male and female )

Is having sex during period time safe from pregnancy ?

its unlikely to get pregnant if you had sex during your period , but its not impossible as well especially if you have irrgular ovulations hormones 

Does having sex during period can make your health or your partners worse ?

although it not recommanded medically , but its unlikely to cause any medical issues unless you and your partner have perivous sexual transmitted disease , then you risks are high because of the active bleeding
