What is zyrtec?

Zyrtec  is a potent second-generation antihistamine used in the treatment of hay fever, allergies, angioedema, and urticaria. It acts as a selective antagonist of the histamine H₁ receptor.

What do we recommend ?

Yes it is safe to take it for a day if your body cant respond to the benadryl but it has a  drowsy effect  and If you're still suffering -- and if your allergies disrupt your sleep or ability to work take Antihistamines like Chlor-Trimeton and Benadryl are safe for pregnant women to take (as are the less-sedating Claritin and Zyrtec).
