What is the treatment of color blindness?
- The use of lenses made specifically for patients with color blindness, which analyzes the lengths of colors that the patient can not distinguish, and transmitted in a way that can distinguish them
- a permenant cure for it is still not found although there is many researches on this field
What are the causes of blindness?
- Acquired cases: such as exposure to plaquenil, an antimalarial drug
- chronic exposure to chemicals foam
- Congenital cases transmitted by inheritance from parents to children
What are the symptoms of blindness?
- Difficulty in distinguishing the colors of the surrounding environment, such as fruit colors or light colors
- Inability to look at the light directly
- pupil's nystagmus
How is color blindness diagnosed?
- Clinical examination
- Check Ishihara for blind colors
