Hi
I got flu and fever 3 days before, doctor tested my blood and said that its seasonal. She gave me adol, zinoximor (antibiotic) and mucolyte
Fever gone but I developed severe cough after the treatment
When I went for the follow up after 2 days, doctor was not on town, so another replacement
Now he suspected it to be cough variant asthma
He gave asthma inhaler, airfast tablet
Am I supposed to take that?
I need second opinion
One can get asthma with 2 days cough only?
He didn't even tested me

What is our recommendation?
The asthma inhaler isnt used just for asthma ... as it opens the bronchus making it easier to breathe and it helps with the coughing ...Fever and flu medications just like anti mucus they cause coughing so it is just caused by phlegm and flu meds and what he perscribed is great but for coughing bronchicum is the best and if there is phlegm mucosolvan is great too and dont worry just drink lots of fluids and you will be fine.
What are the Treatments of coughing ?
1.Drink plenty of water
2.Eat healthy non irritant food
3.Take multivitamin tabs like centrum
4.Antibiotic therapy
5.Non steroidal antiinfalmmatory drugs like iboprufen
6.Cefodoxim
7.Bronchicum for cough
What are the required investigations?
1.Blood analysis
2.Chest x-ray
3.Lung CT
4.Sputum analysis
5.Pulmonary function test
