Treatment of breast cancer:

It depends on many factors as:

• Type of cancer
• Degree of the cancer
• Age of the patient
• General health of the patient

According to the above mentioned factors, management may include:

• Surgical removal
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation

And usually treatment include more that one type of the above treatments.

When to use hormonal therapy in breast cancer?

About two thirds of breast cancers need hormonal therapy before or after surgery, chemotherapy or radiation because they are hormone receptor positive breast cancers.
Tamoxifine is the most common hormonal therapy in breast cancer.
You need to take hormonal thery for about 5 years to avoid any complications.
