Dear Customer
Welcome, and thank you for trusting us
Regarding your question
What is aspirin?
It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and has several uses
What are the uses of aspirin?
Anti-inflammatory drugs at high doses, especially inflammation of blood vessels
Used to treat headaches
It inhibits platelet aggregation and thus protects against clots and blood clots
Is aspirin recommended during pregnancy and could it abort a fetus?
In general, aspirin is not recommended during pregnancy unless you have some medical conditions such as high likelihood of clotting and frequent fetal loss. This is described to increase blood volume and reduce the buildup of blood platelets which may cause clots and blockages in the blood vessels and lead to loss of the fetus and sometimes advised a low dose of aspirin - 60 to 100 milligrams daily - for pregnant women with recurrent pregnancy loss, coagulation disorders and preeclampsia, especially in the early stages of pregnancy
However, the use of higher doses of aspirin poses different risks depending on the stage of pregnancy. During the first three months, the use of higher doses of aspirin is a concern for pregnancy loss and birth defects. Taking higher doses of aspirin during the third trimester increases the risk of premature closure of a vessel in the fetal heart. The use of high-dose aspirin for prolonged periods of pregnancy also increases the risk of brain hemorrhage in preterm infants.
