Cuase of voice changes after neck surgery:
Voice changes is one of the suspected complications after neck surgery, it is due to irritation or injury the recurrent laryngeal nerve which control the vocal cords.Symptoms of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury:
- Hoarsness
- Dysphagia
- Dyspnea
Treatment of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury:
Usually, you will not need any treatment as symptoms improve with time.It may take about 6 months to get improvment.
