Treatment of high uric acid:
According to your uric acid level, the pain you are sufferring from is due to gout.To relive pain, you have to take the following medication:
- Colchicine 0.5 mg once daily for 2 weeks
- Celecoxib 20 mg once daily for 10 days.
- Then you have to start takein allopurinol 300 mg once daily for 1 month and then repeat uric acid test, if it is still high you have to repeat the course of allopurinol again.
Symptoms of high uric acid level:
- Big toe pain
- Pain may occur in other joints as ankle, knee, wrist...etc
- joint swelling
- Joint redness
- Joint stifness
- General fatigue
Causes of high uric acid:
Many factors may cause high uric acid level as:- Increase protein intake
- Renal problem...etc
