How is hashimoto thyroiditis treated?

Standard treatment for Hashimoto's disease is levothyroxine, the synthetic form of thyroxine (T-4). However, extracts are available that contain thyroid hormone derived from the thyroid glands of pigs. These products — Armour Thyroid, for example — contain both levothyroxine and triiodothyronine (T-3)

What are the effects of hshimoto thyroiditis to the body?

If the 150mg decrease your TSH alot then stay on the 100mg and take multivitamin tabs like vitavim or centrum and eat and sleep well ... or you take the 150mg and increase the duration between doses to try to manipulate the effect on your body .. but you should consult your endocrinologist to put the best program for you
