hi i feel a lump in my armpit and i feel pain in my arm as well. the ultrasound reports of my breast also came normal. nothing dangerous . please tel me what should i do of the arm pain

yes i went to doctor they said the swelling is because of my breast . sometime this happens because of the breast large size. and no i am not takeing any medicine

my dad recently had tumor in his throat. and my dads sister had breast cancer. so i am scared that may be this is happening to me because of my family history

Causes of armpit swelling:

Armpit swelling may be due to:
  • Lymph node enlargment
  • Local infection
  • Cancer metastasis
  • Lipoma...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of armpit swelling:

It depends on the clinical examination of a surgoen and investigations as:
  • CBC
  • ESR
  • CRP
  • MRI of the chest and abdomen
  • Colonscope
  • Biopsy...etc

Treatment of armpit swelling:

It depends on the cause as every cause has its specific treatment.
But as the most common cuase is an infection, you may try good antibiotic as: levofloxacin 750 mg once daily for two weeks.

sir i want to ask that my ultrasound reports came fine. and docter said that this is because of my breast fatty tissues. its a part of my breast but i am worried still because i feel pain in my arm. and the docter didnit recommend me any medicine. what should i do? i still bought infection capsule from outside and ate it. stil the lump is not going. and i didnt saw any change in that area after eating the medicine. please tel me what should i do?

As US report is fine, you can take pain killers only as ibuprofen 600 mg twice daily.
