What is the treatment of tonsillitis and sore throat in 7 yrs old child ?

the treatment depends on the examination of the throat by a pediatretian but he will prescribe the following :
Augmentin 400mg syrup 5cc three times daily if the child has follicular tonsilitis and of average weight and bot allergic to penicillin
and he will prescribe ibuprofen 200mg two to three times daily
hot beverages will help too

Symptoms of tonsillitis :

High temperature
Headache
vomiting
Shortness of breath

Diagnosis

diagnosed by history, clinical examination, and blood tests
