Treatment of cough:

It depends on the cause, and till the right diagnosis i advise you to take:

• Cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep
• Drink hot fluids
• And if there is fever or sputum discharge, you can take augmentin 625 mg three times daily and paracetamol 500 mg three times daily.

Causes of cough:

It may be caused by:

• GERD
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Common cold
• Throat congestion
• Allergy...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of cough:

You have to visit a pulmonologist for clinical examination and investigations as:

• CBC
• Chest x-ray
