What is multiple sclerosis?

• Numbness of the face, body, or extremities (arms and legs)
• wide range of involuntary muscle spasms
• blurred vision, poor contrast or color vision, and pain on eye movement
• Bladder dysfunction
• Dizziness and Vertigo

• Swallowing problems
• Seizures
• Hearing Loss

Weakness or lowerlimb spasticity can occur as a symptom of multiple sclerosis

Can MS be cured?

• There are now FDA-approved medications that have been shown to modify the course of MS by reducing the number of relapses and delaying progression of disability to some degree

• Advances in treating and understanding MS are made every year, and progress in research to find a cure is very encouraging
