1. it is whole duration ranging between 21-35 days
2. bleeding duration range between 1-5 days
3. and the amount of blood came out range between 40 cc - 120 cc

there is a way to make the period prolonged , but if it is 1 day a month 
there is no need for it 
but anyway K drugs containning progesteron as duphastone it will increase the period blood
because it will enlarge the size of the uterine linning
panadol is pain killers and fever reliever and it is not used for menstrual bleeding ,
it might help if there is pain with menstruation
