Dear Customer

whar is the approved treatment for ovarian cancer :

1. surgery
2. chometherapy including :
- carboplatin (platinum-based)
- paclitaxel  (taxane-based)

is immunetherapy an option to treat ovarian cancer :

its could be , unfortunately its not apporved yet as a basic line treatment for ovarian cancer , clinical trials and researchs are still going on to determine the effectivness of immunetherapy to treat ovarian cancer

what is the other alternative options that may help in this case :

1. radiation
2. hormone therapy  ( hormone blocking medications
3. targeted therapy : special oral and IV medication to fight ovarian cancer cells such as : Olaparib and rucaparib
4. clinical trials

our opinion :

immunetherapy is a promising treatment for many cancers , but as we mentioned earlier , its still under developing and reseachs . on the other hand , targerted therapy may be beneficial in your patient case especially that she is BRCA1 gene abnormality
