I am 25 weeks pregnant and diagnosed gestational diabetes. But im controlling ny sugar level after healthy diet and walk. But still i bred insulin? Is it normal taking insulin when your sugar levels are normal?

What is the treatment of gestational diabetes?
The treatment of gestational diabetes is dependent on life style modification and deit at first but if still high levels of suger then insulin injections only and other forms of pills or tablets can not be used to regulate the sugar
How to Diagnose Gestational Diabetes?
In the case of two abnormal results of the following results is considered Gestational Diabetes:
The level of sugar in the case of fasting is more than 95
Sugar after breakfast (after eating 100 g glucose) more than 180
Sugar after breakfast two hours (after eating 100 g glucose) more than 155
Sugar after breakfast three hours (after eating 100 g glucose) more than 140
When is gestational diabetes diagnosed?
Gestational diabetes is diagnosed between week 24 and week 28 for pregnancy
