I hav 2 weeks of cough

Causes of cough:

There many different possible causes of cough as:

• Upper respiratory infection
• Common cold
• Post nasal drip
• Allergy
• Throat congestion
• Foreign body inhalation
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease...etc

Diagnosis of cough:

You have to visit a pulmonologist for clinical examiantion and investigations as:

• CBC
• Chest x-ray...etc

Treatment of cough:

It depends on the cause, and till the right diagnosis, you can use the following treatment:

• Cetrizine 10 mg once daily before sleep
• And if there is gastric upset, you can use omeprazole 20 mg twice daily before eating.
