what is the treatment of renal stone
- conservative management at first by analgesia and drinking lots of fluid
- but during the acute attack , fluids must be avoided and administration of desmopressin
- in case of large stone >7 mm more invasive intervention should take place as stent insertion and extraction
- or crushing the stone when ou underwent cystoscopy
- or removal by lethiotripsy machin
- or removal through the skin
what are the causes of renal stone
- dehydration
- increase calcium intake
- renal disease as tubular acidosis
- and genetic cause as in familial
what are the associated symptoms of renal stone
- loin pain and might cause colic
- pain with urination
- blood with urine
what are the way to diagnose the cause
- clinical exam
- urine analysis
- kidney function test
- abdominopelvis ct scan with cotrast
